The position of Valet Ambassador (Band 1H) at Prince Waikiki is essential to delivering superior guest services by providing safe, courteous, and efficient vehicular transportation for guests. This role is integral to the hotel's operations, requiring the ambassador to interact directly with guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from their arrival to their departure. The Valet Ambassador is responsible for adhering to all local and state driving laws and maintaining the safety and security of both passengers and vehicles.
Key responsibilities include greeting guests promptly and courteously, anticipating and responding to guest needs, and maintaining a strong knowledge of the hotel’s services and local attractions. The role also involves handling guest complaints with professionalism and ensuring guest satisfaction. Ambassadors must actively maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and communicate effectively within the team and with other departments. Physical demands include driving both automatic and standard vehicles, assisting guests with luggage, inspecting vehicles for damages, and being able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced outdoor and indoor environment.

Job Requirements
- Must be proficient in English (oral and written)
- must be able to multi-task
- abstract (3 years no moving violation)
- minimum 2 year experience driving vehicles
- prefer 1 year customer service experience
- must be highly organized
- detail-oriented
Job Qualifications

- ability to communicate effectively, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with various departments and guests
- must be able to handle irate guests and remain calm and friendly
Job Duties
- Greet and acknowledge all arriving/departing guests
- anticipate guests' needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
- maintain positive guest relations at all times
- be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- answers Bell Desk phone within 3 rings and records guest requests on call sheet
- monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
