We are currently seeking a Cashier who enjoys engaging with the public and has a natural, friendly, and outgoing personality. In this role, you will be a critical part of our front-line team, responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude. The ideal candidate will be flexible with work hours, embodying the team-oriented spirit that is a hallmark of our company culture. This position requires someone who can provide exceptional customer service, swiftly address customer needs, and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure the casino floor operates smoothly and remains welcoming. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cashier experience preferred
  • strong numerical ability and attention to detail
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • familiarity with casino operations and procedures is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
  • previous experience in a cashier environment helpful
  • positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
  • ability to process gaming tickets, check cashing, and cash advance transactions
  • capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and twisting and standing for long periods of time
  • knowledge of casino system, including cash, credit cards and paycheck procedures

Job Duties

  • Perform basic math functions to handle transactions and make change
  • operate computer system, scanners, and credit card/debit card ATM terminals
  • memorize machine locations throughout the casino and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
  • handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
  • maintain accurate cash drawer
  • take a tally of the funds in the cash drawer when required during a shift and produce transaction reports
  • keep the cashier area clean and orderly
  • work as a team member to make sure that casino floor is clean and orderly along with other employees
