Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives
- physically able to work in a hot environment for 5-8 hours
- able to stand and walk for 5-8 hours
- able to squat or kneel frequently for 3-5 hours
- able to bend, twist or pivot frequently for 3-5 hours
- capable of lifting up to 50-100lbs occasionally and pushing or pulling up to 2400lbs occasionally
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- able to work in a retail bakery environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve results
- knowledge of bakery operations and customer service
- effective communication skills
- ability to train and develop associates
- understanding of sanitation and safety standards
- experience with inventory control and financial paperwork related to bakery departments
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- assist with bakery operations including preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of all bakery products
- maintain a neat, clean and organized work station in accordance with 5S standards
- run the department in the absence of the manager
- ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, outstanding service and sanitary conditions
- assist in the training and development of bakery associates
- control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures
