The available position of Press Machine Operator Assistant is critical in supporting the press operator in various machine-related tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with machine setup, loading materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring a smooth flow of raw materials or components specific to the press machine. The role involves continuous monitoring of operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency, with timely communication of any issues to supervisors. Routine maintenance activities such as cleaning, lubricating, and part replacement are also part of the job to keep the machine operating optimally. Changeover assistance and setting print and registration are essential functions, along with accurate paperwork completion. This full-time position offers a competitive wage starting at $21.20 per hour dependent on experience, plus a $1.50 night shift differential.
