Job Description

Tiny Troops Soccer is a vibrant, minority woman-owned business powered by military spouses, focused on serving military families worldwide. With a proud history of employing over 750 military spouses, dependents, and civilians, Tiny Troops Soccer has created a unique space where young children, aged 18 months to 4 years, can be introduced to the beautiful game of soccer. The aim is not just sport, but also building confidence, fostering friendships, and instilling a lifelong love of movement and exercise. This company operates as a community-focused organization where coaches are not merely instructors but role models and cheerleaders who play a critical role in the physical and emotional development of children. Joining Tiny Troops Soccer means becoming part of a supportive global community dedicated to nurturing resilience and strength in kids.

The role of a Tiny Troops Soccer Coach is more than a part-time job; it is an opportunity to inspire and lead children through play and sportsmanship. The position demands high energy, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children. Coaches lead engaging soccer classes that involve imaginative participation, such as roaring like dinosaurs or hopping like frogs, making the learning experience joyful and interactive. The position requires Saturday availability, with occasional administrative responsibilities during the week for tasks like evaluations and meetings. Coaches enjoy a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $19 for on-field coaching, with $15 per hour for administrative duties. The role includes comprehensive training, ready-to-go lesson plans, activities, professional coaching support, and access to community events and monthly virtual meetings. Benefits such as free participation for coaches' children and a 401(k) retirement plan contribute to a rewarding work experience. This flexible, part-time role provides an excellent balance of leadership development, community involvement, and the joy of helping children grow healthier and more confident each week.
