Job Description
Cadence Education is a leading early childhood education company dedicated to nurturing bright futures for children, families, employees, and communities. With over 340 schools spanning 30 states and more than 30 years of expertise, Cadence stands as a culinary leader in the realm of early education, providing an innovative curriculum and warm, home-like environments that serve as the foundation for lifelong learning. Cadence values teamwork, open communication, and a shared passion for child development, making it an inspiring place to work and grow. The company is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Cook to join their vibrant team of childcare superstars. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who love children and have experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education, as well as culinary skills to create nutritious, tasty meals.
As a Preschool Cook at Cadence Education, you will play a crucial role in fueling the adventures of preschoolers by preparing healthy, kid-friendly meals and snacks that support their growth and learning. The position requires maintaining a clean, organized kitchen, managing food and supply storage efficiently, serving meals to classrooms, and ensuring that every child is well-nourished for both learning and playtime. The role also includes additional responsibilities such as washing dishes, cleaning equipment, sanitizing toys, and helping with laundry to maintain the school's sparkling environment. This job demands energy and enthusiasm, including some physical lifting, making it perfect for someone who enjoys an active and engaging workday. Cadence Education supports its employees by offering a collaborative team atmosphere and prioritizes work-life balance, making it a supportive workplace for a culinary professional dedicated to early childhood education.
The company offers an attractive benefits package for full-time cooks, including competitive pay with on-demand access to earnings through UKG Wallet, a 50% childcare tuition discount for employees' own children, a 401(k) plan with employer match, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and pet insurance, as well as paid time off that grows with seniority, paid holidays, and company-paid life insurance. Additionally, staff can take advantage of professional development opportunities such as paid CDA certification, tuition reimbursement, and other educational programs aimed at helping employees develop their skills and advance their careers within the organization. Cadence Education is committed to fostering a positive work environment where employees can thrive while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children. If you are ready to make a difference and join a team that values your culinary talents and passion for child development, this role is your recipe for success!
