We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Daycare Chef to join our team. As a Daycare Chef at Little Sunshine's Playhouse and Preschool, you will be responsible for preparing breakfasts, lunches, and snacks in our onsite warming kitchen, carefully crafting meals that meet the nutritional needs of growing children. You will work closely with school leadership and classroom teachers to align with daily meal schedules and routines, ensuring the smooth flow of mealtime activities. A key part of the role involves effective communication and relationship-building with children, families, and peers, which helps create a supportive and consistent mealtime environment. You will need to be physically capable of handling the demands of the kitchen, including lifting up to 35 pounds multiple times per shift, as well as performing various movements such as standing, walking, stooping, and reaching throughout the day.

- maintain regular attendance to provide consistency for children and parents
- physically handle kitchen tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs approximately 100 times per shift, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, hearing, talking, and repetitive motions
