Job Description

Long Doggers Eateries Restaurant Group is a well-established hospitality company with multiple dining concepts operating across Brevard County. The group proudly manages six Long Doggers locations along with celebrated restaurants and bars including Meg O'Malley's, Hemingway's Tavern, and Nitro Kitchen & Cocktails. This Dish/Prep Team Member position is a vital role that supports all kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting in food preparation, and ensuring sanitary conditions that meet company and regulatory standards. Working as part of a dynamic team, this role requires attention to detail, operational efficiency, and a positive attitude to support the culinary and service staff effectively. The team member will be responsible for washing, sanitizing, and properly storing all kitchenware and equipment, prepping ingredients, and helping to set stations for service. They will also operate various kitchen tools and machinery, keeping the workspace organized and safe.

Job Duties

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dishwashing and prep area
  • Assist with food preparation and ingredient prep according to company recipes and standards
  • Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up kitchen stations for service
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment including knives, slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
  • Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures
  • Help maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, dining areas, and restaurant according to company standards
