- Food service knowledge
- Food Handler Certification preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to changing work environments
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Familiarity with digital tools and technology is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepares food according to item specifications
- Ensures high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
- Maintains shelves clean and organized
- Maintains temperature control and verifies expiration dates
- Disposes of lesser-quality food products
- Serves ready-to-eat food
- Properly handles claims and returns
- Zoning the sales floor area
- Arranging and organizing merchandise
- Identifies shrink and damages
- Maintains clean, sanitized, and member-ready areas
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams
- Communicates effectively with team members
- Adapts to business needs and supports other work areas
- Utilizes digital tools to improve sales and shopping experience
- Operates and sanitizes equipment
- Stocking and rotating merchandise
- Drives performance of the area
- Assists customers according to company policies
- Adheres to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Implements company policies and ethical standards
