Job Description

Sam's Club, a leading membership-only retail warehouse club, is dedicated to providing quality products and exceptional service to its members. As a part of the Walmart family, Sam's Club is known for offering a wide range of products at competitive prices, catering to both individuals and businesses. The company emphasizes its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, continually striving to enhance the shopping experience through fresh and ready-to-eat food options, among other offerings.

The Prepared Meal and Rotisserie Chicken Associate plays a vital role at Sam's Club by ensuring members have access to fresh, high-quality prepared foods daily. This position involves carefully following recipes to prepare delicious meals and rotisserie chickens, which are always fresh, warm, and ready for members to enjoy. The associate is responsible for properly wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to maintain freshness and safety standards, making sure customers can confidently bring home meals to their families.

This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask, especially during busy periods when juggling several tasks while assisting customers with their bakery orders. Beyond food preparation, this role is about contributing to a family’s mealtime and being part of a team that prioritizes quality and value.

Candidates with a passion for fresh food and experience in food preparation are highly valued. The role demands a dedication to member satisfaction, a problem-solving mindset, and the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Associates are expected to uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines, control product quality and expiration, and maintain a clean and inviting sales floor.

In this role, associates will keep up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help educate fellow associates. They will prepare food according to specifications, manage inventory and seasonal production needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role also involves leveraging digital tools to enhance sales and customer service, managing merchandise rotation to minimize waste, and embodying the values and energy of Sam's Club.

Sam's Club offers competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with the actual rate being at or above the minimum wage relevant to the job location. Additional premiums may apply based on schedules, facilities, seasons, or specific tasks. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, financial benefits, paid time off, educational opportunities through the Live Better U program, and various other employee perks.

Working at Sam's Club means being part of a drug-free workplace, committed to safety and high standards. The company supports its associates with various resources and encourages professional growth and teamwork in a supportive environment. This position takes place at 3660 E Sunshine St, Springfield, MO, and offers a fulfilling opportunity to contribute to a reputable retail organization while advancing personal skills in food service and customer engagement.
