This mission-driven company fosters personal growth among its team members while also creating meaningful community impact. Employees at Whole Foods Market are proud to contribute to a cause larger than retail, blending their passion for natural foods with their commitment to social and ecological responsibility. The company’s innovative approach has earned it a respected position in retail, inspiring change and setting high standards for excellence across the grocery industry.

Team members assist in preparing all food offerings within Prepared Foods venues, ensuring products are consistently labeled, dated, rotated, and meet Whole Foods Market’s strict quality guidelines. The role demands attention to detail in waste documentation, product production accuracy using established recipes, and adherence to merchandising expectations.

Team members are expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment including walk-in coolers and freezers and arrive at work ready to contribute fully. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, being on their feet for extended periods, and operating various tools safely. Whole Foods Market values strong communication skills, teamwork, and a passion for natural foods. No prior retail experience is required, making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages career advancement.
The wage range for this role is $16.00 to $25.40 per hour, commensurate with experience, and Whole Foods Market provides comprehensive "Whole Benefits" offering paid time off, health and wellness support programs, financial wellness resources, and store discounts. New team members who complete their first 90 days may be eligible for a base pay increase.
