The current opportunity available is for a position within the Prepared Foods team at Whole Foods Market. This role involves various responsibilities related to the preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products, ensuring that all functions comply with the company's quality, safety, and operational standards. Team Members in this role are expected to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to both customers and fellow employees at all times, contributing to a positive company image. These duties must be conducted following established Standard Operating Procedures and include adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations, including Food Safety requirements.

As part of the role, Team Members will assist with production across all Prepared Foods venues, ensuring that all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated to meet Whole Foods Market’s quality standards. Attention to detail is vital in documenting waste and spoilage correctly using the company's forms and maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage areas like walk-in coolers and freezers. The position requires teamwork and communication skills to help customers understand the unique aspects of Whole Foods Market products compared to conventional stores and promote suggestive selling techniques.

Participants in this role should be prepared to work all scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary, while adhering to the company’s grooming and dress standards. The company offers a wage range of $19.00 to $25.40 per hour, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package known as "Whole Benefits." New team members who complete their initial 90-day period successfully may also be eligible for a base rate increase after this milestone.
