Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
  • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • Ability to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures
  • Ability to work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings

Job Duties

  • Cut and prepare a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza
  • Sample products to customers
  • Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods
  • Check product freshness and rotate stock as needed
  • Bail and consolidate recyclables
  • Assist Team Leader with organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
  • Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets
  • Assist with periodic inventory checks
  • Arrive to work on time, groomed, and ready to work
  • Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling
  • Follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties
  • Report safety hazards and violations immediately
