Employment in this position is hourly, with wages ranging from $17.00 to $25.40 per hour, depending on experience. Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Standing or walking for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour work day
- Hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- May require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Cut, prepare, and serve a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza
- Sample products to customers
- Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators
- Check product dates to ensure freshness and rotate stock as necessary
- Bail and consolidate recyclables
- Assist team leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
- Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
- Assist with periodic inventory checks
- Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed and dressed, and work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings
- Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly and effectively, and model suggestive selling techniques
- Maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of products
- Follow and ensure compliance with established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and ensure equipment meets cleanliness and safety standards
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned including ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing
- Immediately report safety hazards and violations
