Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- standing and walking 6-8 hours per 8-hour shift
- ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work 90 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures
- ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- may require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Cuts and prepares a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza
- samples products to customers
- stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods
- checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates products when necessary
- bails and consolidates recyclables
- assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
- completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
- assists with periodic inventory checks
- arrives on time and ready to work, attends required trainings and meetings
- provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, uses suggestive selling techniques, answers phones and pages courteously
- maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
- follows established procedures including health, safety, sanitation, and Weights and Measures compliance
- maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties including ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately reports safety hazards and violations
