The role of the Prepared Foods Team Member at Whole Foods Market is designed for individuals who are passionate about food and customer service. This entry-level position involves supporting the Prepared Foods team by preparing, presenting, and serving an array of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza. The role also includes responsibilities around sanitation, stocking, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations. Prepared Foods Team Members play a critical role in creating an exceptional shopping experience by ensuring that products are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively displayed. Team Members are expected to engage with customers enthusiastically, assist in sampling, promote national and store initiatives, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere on the sales floor. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The wage range for this position is $15.00 to $24.40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
