This particular role on the Prepared Foods team involves a diverse set of responsibilities focused on food preparation, customer service, sanitation, and inventory management. Candidates will be expected to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking 6-8 hours per 8-hour shift
  • hand use including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods
  • samples products to customers
  • stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods
  • checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary
  • bails and consolidates recyclables
  • assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
  • completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
  • assists with periodic inventory checks
  • provides excellent customer service and addresses needs promptly
  • maximizes sales potential through effective procedures
  • follows health and sanitation regulations
  • maintains a clean and sanitary work environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • reports safety hazards and violations
