This position is part of the Prepared Foods team at Whole Foods Market and entails a variety of responsibilities that support the preparation, serving, sanitation, and stocking of food products within the store. Employment in this role is hourly, with wages ranging from $15.00 to $24.40, depending on experience. As a member of the Prepared Foods team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizzas. You will also handle inventory tasks such as checking product freshness, rotating stock, and completing spoilage and temperature worksheets. Providing samples to customers and maintaining a visually appealing product display are essential to maximize sales and promote the company’s product offerings. Additionally, the role demands compliance with Whole Foods Market’s quality and cleanliness standards, proper sanitation practices, and adherence to safety policies. You will be expected to assist with store operations such as opening, mid, and closing duties, and promptly report any safety hazards.
