The role of a Prepared Foods Team Member is vital to the operation of Whole Foods Market’s prepared foods venues. This entry-level position encompasses various functions related to the preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of food products. Prepared Foods Team Members are responsible for meeting the store’s high standards of quality and food safety while delivering excellent customer service that reflects the company’s core values. Job Duties

  • Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues
  • Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated
  • Ensure product meets Whole Foods Market guidelines for quality and preparation
  • Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
  • Ensure product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed
  • Help customers understand the difference between Whole Foods Market products and products at conventional stores
  • Ensure that walk-ins and freezers are kept clean and well-organized
