This particular role is focused on maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by performing duties related to dishwashing and general kitchen maintenance. The position is essential for upholding Whole Foods Market's high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service. As a Dishwashing Team Member, you will be responsible for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen operation. You will also maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area and assist with receiving and properly storing kitchen deliveries. This entry-level Retail Team Member role requires punctuality, attention to grooming and dress standards, and readiness to work assigned shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. In addition to cleaning responsibilities, the role includes providing excellent customer service by engaging courteously with customers and fellow team members, answering phones and pages promptly, and modeling suggestive selling techniques. Compensation for this role ranges from $17.00 to $25.40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
