This career opportunity is for the role of a Kitchen Steward, a vital position that supports the overall operation and cleanliness of the kitchen area. The role involves performing duties related to dishwashing and maintaining general kitchen sanitation, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety are upheld. Kitchen Stewards are responsible for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen tools, as well as assisting with kitchen deliveries and proper storage of products.

In addition to performing cleaning tasks, the Kitchen Steward plays an important role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting teamwork within the store environment. This position requires punctuality, adherence to company grooming standards, participation in trainings and meetings, and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. The role is ideal for individuals who have a strong work ethic, a passion for cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

The position offers a wage range of $15.00 to $24.40 per hour, depending on experience, and includes access to Whole Foods Market’s comprehensive "Whole Benefits" program. New hires who complete a successful 90-day employment period in an eligible role may also be considered for a base rate increase.
