This role involves performing all duties related to dishwashing and maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen areas within the store. Customer service is also an important aspect, as you will address customer needs timely, model suggestive selling techniques, and maintain courteous phone and page interactions. This position requires adherence to all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, and compliance with store procedures like Weights and Measures. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working and shopping environment by keeping equipment in accordance with Whole Foods Market's cleanliness and safety standards. The role may include opening, mid, and closing duties and requires reporting any safety hazards or violations immediately.

While no prior retail experience is necessary, the role involves physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for 6 to 8 hours daily, and performing motions that include bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and working in variable temperature conditions is expected. Flexibility for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary, along with the ability to use various tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and possibly ladders.
The position offers an hourly wage range of $15.00 to $24.40 commensurate with experience.
