The role of Prepared Foods Team Leader is vital in ensuring the smooth operation and high-performance of the Prepared Foods department, which includes the handling and presentation of prepared foods, coffee, and juice displays. This position requires assisting with scheduling, supervising the team members, and maintaining the overall flow of the department. The team leader supports both the Prepared Foods Team Leader and Associate Team Leader by enforcing store procedures and promoting a positive customer service culture. The position demands a deep knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements, as well as strong leadership qualities to foster teamwork, respect, and morale among team members. The team leader ensures all products are well-stocked, properly rotated, and visually appealing. Responsibilities also include opening and closing the department, managing breaks, and communicating team concerns to higher leadership. The salary range for this hourly position is between $17.50 and $30.20, adjusted according to experience.
