With a commitment to quality, transparency, and community, Whole Foods Market continually sets the standards of excellence and innovation in the grocery industry, positioning itself as a world-changer in its sector.

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to join the Whole Foods Market team as a Prepared Foods Team Supervisor. In this role, you will assist with scheduling and supervising team members while managing the day-to-day flow of the Prepared Foods department. You will play an integral part in maintaining appealing food displays, supporting team leaders, and ensuring the department runs smoothly in alignment with Whole Foods Market’s core values and operational standards. This position requires dedication to offering superior customer service, promoting teamwork, and adhering to health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines. Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the capability to teach and motivate others constructively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and other operations-related applications is expected, along with strong mathematical skills necessary for monitoring financial performance and inventory management. The role demands decision-making ability, leadership skills, and an ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for 6 to 8 hours during an 8-hour shift, and perform various motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. The work environment may expose team members to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperature extremes ranging from freezing to above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Flexibility in scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays is essential. Experience with using tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and ladders is advantageous.

Joining Whole Foods Market means embracing the opportunity to contribute positively to your community and beyond, working alongside passionate, like-minded individuals committed to making a difference. The company offers a comprehensive "Whole Benefits" package available to full and part-time team members, including store discounts, paid time off, financial wellness programs, health and wellness support, and other perks.
