It is essential that the team member ensures food quality, proper presentation, and sanitation. The team member is also expected to provide courteous and efficient service to customers and fellow Team Members to sustain the company’s superior reputation. \n\nOn a day-to-day basis, this role involves preparing food items according to production sheets and recipes to maintain consistency and excellence. The team member must also label, date, cover, monitor, and rotate all prepared items to ensure freshness and quality. Managing timely replenishment of food items and adherence to company sanitation and safety protocols is critical. The role demands punctuality, appropriate grooming, and readiness for work, with responsibilities also including answering phones, addressing customer needs, and promoting suggestive selling techniques. Additionally, the team member must assist with stocking and merchandising products to maximize sales potential, maintain cleanliness of the work environment and equipment, and comply with regulations such as Weights and Measures. Other duties include performing opening, mid, and closing tasks, maintaining accurate signage and pricing, and immediately reporting any safety hazards or violations.\n\nSuccess in this position requires a good understanding of food production and cooking techniques, strong math skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work harmoniously as part of a team. Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
  • hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit

  • availability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Prepares food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets
  • prepares food items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency
  • ensures that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated
  • monitors food levels and replenishes in a timely manner
  • arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
  • provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques
  • maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
  • follows and complies with established procedures including health and sanitation, and safe work practices
  • maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • reports safety hazards and violations immediately
