The Assistant Team Leader supports the Team Leader in overseeing profitability, expense control, purchasing, merchandising, labor management, regulatory compliance, and special projects. Responsibilities include developing creative store layouts, analyzing sales and labor reports, maintaining vendor relationships, and stepping in as the department or store leader in the absence of the Team Leader. This role emphasizes leadership and development, as the Assistant Team Leader is tasked with selecting, training, mentoring, and motivating Team Members to build a high-performing, cohesive team. They are expected to embody the company’s vision and values, promote teamwork and respect, and consistently deliver excellent customer service by anticipating and responding to customer needs.
