The Prepared Foods Associate will be responsible for preparing various fresh, organic food items including salads, hot bar selections, sandwiches, and grab-and-go meals. The role demands a detail-oriented individual who can prepare food accurately based on recipes and portion controls to guarantee consistency and quality in every item presented. Additionally, the associate will maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards which include monitoring temperature controls, proper storage methods, and cleanliness of the workstation. This is a fast-paced environment where the ability to multitask and work efficiently is crucial. The associate will assist in setting up and replenishing attractive food displays that appeal to customers while adhering to labeling, dating, and packaging procedures to ensure product safety and compliance. Beyond food handling, the role involves providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service, answering questions regarding ingredients and dietary preferences to help customers make informed choices. Other responsibilities include keeping work areas clean and sanitized, monitoring inventory and communicating restocking needs, and supporting various store departments as required. Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications
- Previous food service, deli, kitchen, or grocery experience preferred
- Must have current ServeSafe certification or obtain certification in first 90 days
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Interest in organic, natural, and health-focused foods
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
Job Duties
