The company prides itself on fostering a positive, inclusive workplace where employees can grow professionally and personally, aligning with its vision to inspire healthier lives through conscious food choices and outstanding service.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Prepared Foods Assistant Manager to oversee the Back of House (BOH) Cafe Team. This is a full-time role requiring flexible scheduling with weekend availability, offering a competitive pay range of $23.00 to $25.31 per hour. As an integral part of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our Cafe Department, ensuring our BOH kitchen runs smoothly and that the foods produced meet the highest standards of quality, freshness, and safety.

In this hands-on leadership position, you will work side-by-side with your team, setting a strong example by maintaining high standards for food preparation, sanitation, and guest hospitality. You will lead and inspire a cohesive BOH leadership team alongside the Deli/Prepared Foods Manager to support Healthy Living's mission and vision. Your responsibilities will include managing staff scheduling, training, and performance, as well as overseeing product purchasing, inventory management, and proper rotation and storage of ingredients.

Your culinary expertise and operational experience will enable you to collaborate effectively with the Research & Development Chef on seasonal offerings, promotions, and special events, helping to keep the menu fresh and appealing to guests. This role requires a fast-paced, detail-oriented leader who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences through real food made with care.

The successful candidate will bring sound knowledge of food procurement and inventory systems, have a minimum of two years management experience in a food service environment, and previous experience working with local and organic products is highly preferred. If you are enthusiastic about leading a talented team, delivering outstanding food quality, and embodying the values of a mission-driven company committed to wellness and sustainability, Healthy Living invites you to apply and join our vibrant community.
