This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $22.00 to $30.00, with potential additional premiums based on specific working conditions or performance. The Department Lead will oversee the prepared foods department, including the café and rotisserie sections, ensuring that high-quality meals are produced and served to Sam’s Club members. This role demands a hands-on leader who can inspire and manage a team of hourly associates, orchestrate daily operations, and maintain compliance with company and regulatory policies related to food quality, safety, and sanitation.

Utilizing digital tools and handheld technology is integral to this role, enabling efficient operational decisions and enhancing the shopping experience. You will act as a resource and mentor, fostering career growth within your team while promoting a culture of respect, safety, and accountability.
In addition to operational management, the position requires collaboration with third-party vendors, maintenance personnel, and other departments to ensure seamless continuity and a clutter-free work environment. Compliance with company ethics and policies is paramount, as is leading by example in embracing diversity and inclusion. Sam’s Club supports employee development through programs like Live Better U, which offers company-paid education benefits ranging from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees.
