The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort located in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a renowned destination recognized for its commitment to providing an exceptional luxury experience to its guests. As part of Marriott International's prestigious Luxury Collection, The Phoenician symbolizes a rich heritage that dates back to 1906 with a foundation rooted in the iconic Italian CIGA brand. The resort boasts more than 120 hotels in over 35 countries, each offering unique, authentic experiences that evoke lasting and precious memories. The Phoenician blends timeless elegance with modern sophistication, offering guests an immersive retreat that highlights the cultural treasures and charms of Scottsdale and its surroundings. The resort is committed to excellence in hospitality, driven by a team that values diversity, creativity, and a passion for delivering genuine personalized service that anticipates the needs of luxury travelers.

The culinary team at The Phoenician plays a pivotal role in creating these memorable experiences. This full-time position at J&G Steakhouse, located within the resort, invites culinary associates who have a passion for food and desire to grow their skills in a luxury restaurant setting. Prior experience in a high-end dining environment is preferred, ensuring that team members bring a refined approach to culinary preparation and presentation. The role provides access to professional culinary training through an exclusive partnership with Rouxbe online culinary school. This platform empowers employees of Marriott with various levels of culinary expertise to improve their knowledge and practical skills by engaging in hundreds of well-designed and visually appealing lessons.

As a Culinary Associate at J&G Steakhouse, you will be instrumental in preparing fresh ingredients according to recipes, cooking high-quality menu items in a timely manner, and ensuring food safety and presentation standards are met consistently. Your work will directly impact guests' dining experiences, as you contribute to beautifully crafted dishes that leave guests eager to return. You'll benefit from a motivating and encouraging work environment that fosters teamwork and continuous learning. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, all while maintaining a professional appearance with a clean uniform. Safety training and certification will be required before starting the position.

Joining The Phoenician means becoming part of a diverse and vibrant team dedicated to culinary excellence and outstanding service. The resort offers generous benefits such as hotel room discounts, food and beverage discounts, development opportunities, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives to support employees both inside and outside of the workplace. If you are passionate about elevating culinary artistry and eager to take your career to the next level within a prestigious luxury hospitality environment, this role offers a rewarding path where your talents will be nurtured and celebrated.
