The role of the Prep Cook at Miller's Ale House is essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of food items according to recipe specifications and production guidelines. The Prep Cook plays a vital role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing workstations. You will also monitor kitchen tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order and report any issues promptly. This role entails completing end-of-shift duties, stocking workstations for the next shift, and adhering strictly to all health and safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire
  • ability to remain standing for extended periods of time in work areas that have an elevated air temperature
  • ability to reach bend squat push pull and lift up to 50 lbs for short distances
  • strong communication skills to exchange accurate information with managers and team members
  • ability to perform job functions with reasonable accommodation
