Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow cleaning and sanitizing guidelines
- Prior kitchen experience including roles such as sushi chef, line cook, or food runner
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours
- Commitment to obtaining ServSafe certification within 90 days
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment
- Eligibility to work in the United States and participation in E-Verify
Job Qualifications
- Show passion for sushi and Japanese-inspired cuisine
- Have strong customer service and communication skills in English
- Experience in kitchen roles such as prep cook, line cook, sushi chef, sous chef, dishwasher, or food runner
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work safely with knives and hot surfaces
- Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours
- Willing to earn ServSafe certification within 90 days of hire
