We are currently seeking a Cook to join our team at one of our communities. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food preparation and helping others through their culinary skills. The Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of hot and cold menu items, working across multiple food preparation stations including the grill, sauté station, salad bar, and service line. The position involves ensuring that all food preparation, portion control, and serving standards are met according to our menu cycles and standardized recipes. Attention to detail and consistent quality are essential to this role, as the cook must taste and prepare food to maintain palate-pleasing flavors. This position offers flexible scheduling with only 10-15 hours per week, making it a perfect fit for those looking for part-time opportunities.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain portion control
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must be able to work 10-15 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior living preferred
- Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required
- Great organizational skills

Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line

- Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
- Work only 10-15 hours per week
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
