Job Requirements
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, push and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
- Flexible schedule
- All BOH manager and hourly positions might include the ability to withstand frequent exposure to high and low temperatures, smoke, and steam
- Frequent contact with sanitary latex gloves, sanitation solutions, all food products to include, but not limited to: meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, dairy and produce items
- You must have the ability to learn and understand how to prepare all food items on our menu to our World of Beer specifications, appearance and standards in a timely manner
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Must be able follow directions of kitchen manager
Job Duties
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the WOB recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
- Follow the prep list created by Kitchen management
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients so they can be organized and easily accessible
- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure all food and station items are stored properly
- Maintain clean work environment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
