The Prep Cook position at Crystal Mountain is an essential role within the Food and Beverage business unit, reporting directly to the Executive Sous Chef and Lead Cook. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about culinary arts who wish to grow their skills in a dynamic, mountain resort environment that values teamwork, safety, and guest satisfaction. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen operations by ensuring that food handling safety standards are rigorously maintained, working efficiently at your station, and assisting with overall kitchen cleanliness and preparation. Candidates for this position should have basic knife skills, prior kitchen experience, and a strong understanding of food safety guidelines. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and the capacity to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Duties
- Regulate food handling safety standards and ensure kitchen cleanliness
- Maintain own station cleanliness and stock supplies
- Assist dishwasher when necessary
- Help with closing duties and preparation for the following day
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, food preparation, storage, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Provide high standard of guest service in Food and Beverage venues
- Follow Crystal Mountain employment guidelines
