Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • ability to communicate clearly with kitchen and front of house members
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
  • ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 10 hours

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
  • able to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently
  • able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
  • ability to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours

Job Duties

  • prepare hot food products accurately and efficiently
  • prepare and portion food prior to cooking
  • plate and garnish cooked items with appropriate garnishes
  • follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members
  • adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
