Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- capacity to use knives and small equipment safely
- physical ability to stand, bend, and perform manual food preparation tasks
- willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- adherence to all health and safety regulations
- ability to communicate effectively with team members
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow detailed prep sheets and instructions
- proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment safely
- good communication skills
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for prolonged periods
Job Duties
- Prepare food to specifications before and during unit operations
- comply with portion sizes and quality standards
- label, date, and wrap food products by ServSafe procedures
- communicate with the chef for instructions or training
- uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations
- follow safety, security, and kitchen procedures
- maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- perform opening, closing, and side work duties
- conduct end-of-day inventory according to guidelines
