Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a garde manger or similar role preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn and follow restaurant protocols
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness and organization at all times

Job Duties

  • Prep garde manger station with all necessary items for service
  • Prepare and plate all items according to Bern's Steak House standards
  • Ensure quality of all products
  • Maintain cleanliness of station throughout the entire shift
