Job Requirements

  • Ability to handle knives and operate kitchen equipment safely
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • willingness to follow food safety protocols
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Ability to handle knives and to operate kitchen equipment
  • assist line cooks and pantry when necessary with food preparation
  • continually maintain a clean, safe and sanitary prep area, walk-in cooler and freezer
  • follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • assist in receiving and storing food supplies
  • support kitchen staff during busy service periods
