Job Requirements

Ability to handle knives and operate kitchen equipment safely
maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas
ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
willingness to follow food safety protocols
good communication skills

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety standards
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
strong teamwork and communication skills
high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

Ability to handle knives and to operate kitchen equipment
assist line cooks and pantry when necessary with food preparation
continually maintain a clean, safe and sanitary prep area, walk-in cooler and freezer
follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
assist in receiving and storing food supplies
support kitchen staff during busy service periods
