Levy is currently hiring for the position of Prep Cook at the Spokane Convention Center and Arena. The role demands a high level of cleanliness, involving regular operation and sanitization of kitchen equipment. Additionally, the Prep Cook completes documentation and maintains waste logs, contributing to departmental organization and efficiency.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation policies
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or service is an asset
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and adhere to production standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
- Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality
- Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- Store, label and date all food items according to policy
- Follow HACCP guidelines
- Complete all required documentation, reports and logs
- Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures
- Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner
- Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- Resolve customer concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
