The Patina Group at Delaware North is currently seeking both full-time and part-time Prep Cooks to join their team at Paseo, a restaurant located in the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, California. Paseo features a modern take on coastal cuisine, guided by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. The restaurant offers a vibrant menu inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean and Latin America, blending fresh, seasonal ingredients with sophisticated yet relaxed presentations. With its contemporary design and open kitchen, Paseo creates an inviting and energetic atmosphere that fosters connection and exploration for its guests.

As a Prep Cook at Paseo, you will play an essential role in preparing food items to ensure an outstanding dining experience for guests. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and maintaining cleanliness and safety are paramount. Duties include retrieving and measuring ingredients, following prep sheets, and supporting kitchen operations through opening, closing, and side work. You will collaborate closely with the Chef and the kitchen team to meet the restaurant’s high standards of food preparation while following all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Job Duties

  • Retrieve storage items necessary and measure portion and prepare all food items complying with all quality standards department rules policies and procedures
  • Communicate with the Chef for any special instructions or training
  • Maintain food utensils and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • Perform opening closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
  • Follow all safety security kitchen and ServSafe procedures upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations
