Job Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
- Ability to use kitchen tools safely including knives and small equipment
- Ability to follow instructions
- Frequent standing and walking for the entire shift
- Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids
- Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
- Ability to frequently immerse hands in water
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Prior food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
- Ability to use kitchen tools safely including knives and small equipment
- Ability to follow instructions
- No high school diploma or GED required
Job Duties
- Retrieve storage items necessary and measure, portion, and prepare all food items, complying with all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
- Communicate with the Chef for any special instructions or training
- Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
- Follow all safety, security, kitchen, and ServSafe procedures, upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations
