We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Prep Cooks to join our team at Paseo in Anaheim, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment where preparation and attention to detail are paramount. The hourly wage for this role is set at $21.00, reflecting our commitment to compensating our team members fairly for their important contributions. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary team by efficiently preparing foods to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include measuring, portioning, and preparing food items according to departmental standards and recipes, ensuring food safety and sanitation regulations are strictly followed. Working under the guidance and communication from the Chef, you will receive instructions and training necessary for meeting operational goals.
Beyond the kitchen tasks, you will be instrumental in keeping the work areas clean and organized, maintaining utensils, equipment, and work surfaces in proper order before, during, and after shifts. The role also requires diligent performance of opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. Job Duties
- Retrieve storage items necessary and measure, portion, and prepare all food items, complying with all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
