Joining Oak Crest Village as a Prep Cook means becoming part of a culinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences to senior residents. The role involves contributing to Signature Dining Programs, preparing à la minute meals, and creating chef-inspired dishes using high-quality ingredients and advanced kitchen equipment. The Prep Cook will work synergistically with a team committed to food excellence and resident satisfaction, maintaining high standards for food safety and sanitation.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $16.31 and $19.50, commensurate with experience, and is designed to promote work-life balance with most restaurant team members finishing before 9 p.m. The Prep Cook is expected to assist consistently with the preparation of all food items, ensuring adherence to proper culinary techniques and safety protocols. This includes working in a dynamic kitchen environment that may involve varying temperatures and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Capability to work in varying temperatures from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers

Job Duties
