Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience
  • ServeSafe certification or equivalent required by state
  • ability to work unsupervised for extensive periods
  • ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests
  • ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English
  • ability to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously
  • ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
  • proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English
  • physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for long periods and work in environments with high heat, steam, and varying odors

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience
  • work experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
  • ServeSafe certification or equivalent required

Job Duties

  • store prepared food items safely with proper date labeling
  • practice excellent food safety and sanitation standards
  • restock kitchen supplies and food items regularly
  • assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed
  • report equipment repair and maintenance needs
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and multitasking
  • perform additional duties as assigned
