Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience
- ServeSafe certification or equivalent required by state
- ability to work unsupervised for extensive periods
- ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests
- ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English
- ability to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously
- ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
- proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English
- physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- ability to stand for long periods and work in environments with high heat, steam, and varying odors
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience
- work experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
- ServeSafe certification or equivalent required
- ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests

Job Duties

- prepare food with 100% recipe adherence, including washing, slicing, peeling, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving food items
- follow production prep list and maintain accurate records
- use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- store prepared food items safely with proper date labeling
- practice excellent food safety and sanitation standards
- restock kitchen supplies and food items regularly
- assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed
- report equipment repair and maintenance needs
- maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and multitasking
- perform additional duties as assigned
