The company is currently hiring for a seasonal Prep Cook position at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida, which is set to open in 2026 as a state-of-the-art soccer stadium and entertainment destination. Nu Stadium will be the future home of Inter Miami CF and will host world-class soccer matches, concerts, and various live events year-round. Delaware North will be the exclusive provider of concessions and premium food and beverage services at the venue, blending Miami's vibrant culture with classic stadium favorites to deliver innovative culinary experiences.
The role of a seasonal Prep Cook is integral to the smooth operation of the kitchen team at Nu Stadium. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while supporting a collaborative team atmosphere. As a Prep Cook, you will prepare food items according to specified recipes, ensuring compliance with all portion controls, quality standards, health codes, and safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include prepping ingredients before and during operations, maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen utensils and equipment, adhering to ServSafe guidelines for labeling and wrapping food products, and assisting with opening, closing, and inventory duties. With pay ranging from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, this position offers competitive compensation along with access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote personal and professional well-being. These benefits include weekly pay, employee discounts, flexible schedules, and eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental leave, and educational reimbursements. The Prep Cook role requires physical stamina as it involves standing, walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and handling kitchen tools safely. This position also demands attention to detail, cleanliness, and the capacity to work effectively in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure stadium environment. If you are motivated and ready to contribute to an exciting and innovative hospitality team, Delaware North at Nu Stadium offers a rewarding seasonal employment experience with opportunities for growth and success within a global legacy company.
