The role on offer is a Food Service Team Member position focused on food preparation and customer service that meets all federal, state, and local standards and regulations. Additionally, this position involves direct interaction with customers, taking orders, preparing quick-service items, and resolving customer concerns with efficiency and friendliness. The Food Service Team Member is also responsible for accurately completing documentation such as production worksheets and waste logs to support kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Must comply with all federal, state and local health and safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality is an asset
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math and record-keeping skills

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • Taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
  • Store, label and date all food items according to policy
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of the food supply
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control
  • Resolve customer concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned
