Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in a line cook or prep cook role preferred
  • Ability to work full time or part time
  • Capacity to maintain composure under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

  • Ability to skillfully use hand tools or machines needed for the position

Job Duties

  • Efficiently prepares food items as ordered
  • Exercises food safety and kitchen sanitation practices to deliver a quality product
  • Weighs, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes
  • Properly prepares meat, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients
  • Anticipates demand throughout shift to stay ahead of orders
  • Maintains cleanliness and working order of work area, tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Prepares and maintains the line and par levels as required by the current menu
  • Keeps walk-in cooler and freezer organized
  • Assists with inventory temperature logs and waste logs
