Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
  • Ability to work full time or part time
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Physical ability to perform job duties

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food service regulations
  • Skillful use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Efficiently prepares food items as ordered
  • Exercises food safety and kitchen sanitation practices in order to deliver a quality product
  • Weighs, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes
  • Properly prepares meat, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients
  • Stays ahead of orders by anticipating demand throughout shift
  • Maintains cleanliness and working order of work area, tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Prepares and maintains the line and par levels as required by the current menu
  • Keeps walk in cooler/freezer organized
  • May assist with inventory temp logs and waste logs
