Job Requirements

  • ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
  • knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • basic English language and professional communication skills
  • able to independently lift up to 15lbs for extended periods
  • ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for 8-10 hours per day
  • hand-eye coordination
  • physical ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead
  • must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to understand and follow recipes
  • basic English language and communication skills
  • strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients as assigned by management
  • ensure freshness and quality of all food items
  • follow sanitation and food safety guidelines
  • maintain product consistency by preparing recipes to standard
  • work effectively under pressure in a team environment
  • assist in keeping the kitchen clean and organized
