Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
- Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination
- Reaching, bending twisting, stooping
- Pushing and pulling
- Lifting overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
Job Duties
- Prepare food ingredients according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain sanitation and safety guidelines in food preparation areas
- Ensure the freshness and quality of all food items
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment
- Follow management instructions regarding daily food preparation tasks
