Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Commitment to quality service and food knowledge
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills
  • Able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
  • Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Reaching, bending twisting, stooping
  • Pushing and pulling
  • Lifting overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure

Job Duties

  • Prepare food ingredients according to company recipes and standards
  • Maintain sanitation and safety guidelines in food preparation areas
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of all food items
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow management instructions regarding daily food preparation tasks
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist in inventory management and storage of ingredients
